You lead a crew of eight to fifteen people on one site at a time. You set the sequence with the project manager, order materials ahead of time, and answer for the quality handed over on each floor.
Several of our foremen started as installers at TJL. The reverse is also true: we hire from outside when the experience is there.
Main duties
- Weekly sequence planning with the project manager
- Crew assignment and hour tracking
- Ordering and receiving materials
- Quality control before each floor is handed over
- Enforcing health and safety rules
Requirements
- Foreman experience in drywall or steel stud framing
- ASP health and safety course, first aid certificate
- Comfortable with drawings and specifications
- Valid driver's licence
